Dark Matter?
Aerographite is the new champion in the ‘lightest material in the world’ category. This carbon based material was created by scientists at Germany’s University of Kiel and Hamburg University of Teachnology.
Areographite:
- is fully opaque to the eye
- would almost not register when held due to its extreme lightness
- is electrically conductive
- has promising applications in water purification systems, battery engineering, and biotechnology.
